I have been reading George Washington's Diaries 1748-1799, and with no doubt of mind believe that he would rebel against the present system ( correct the mistake of not invading Canada). As a Canadian with American roots, I look to the American Government as a system we badly need here in Canada. Elected House & Elected Senate! With term limits on ALL OFFICES FEDERAL, STATE/PROVINCIAL. Here in Canada our Senate is appointed, by the Party in power and hold that office until they are 75 years old. With no elections held it has become a corrupt system !!!I hope to see either country change the system and become a role model to each other. As a citizen I feel most people in the USA & CANADA are being held hostage by fear. And we give up our right's to those in power who protect us, govern us, and represent us with little thought of who will protect us from them. Both systems North and South have become corrupt.
