So Superman was a Catholic?
Since the Reformation is generally considered to have been a very, very good thing for European society, I’m surprised you thing Superman would have wanted to stop it.

If I hear too many history lectures about that period, I have to fight down the urge to tell people that King Henry said, “Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?” which got Thomas Aquinas murdered. All because Thomas had stuck his hand into the spear wound in Jesus’s side, and opposed Henry’s marriage to Anne Boleyn.
