    Easterbrook also points out that the statistics chosen are so ridiculously skewed that Jimmy Carter’s economy of 1978 is the high water mark until 1999. Ah yes, those glorious days of Jimmuh!

    Yeah I remember the stagflation of ’78 and ’79. Gosh, what utopian times those were. *rolls eyes* Easterbrook is correct that you probably would not get any takers on a time-travel back to that period.
