It would be one thing for them to just be there to support him through the trial, but to allege outright that he is innocent and there's "no way" he could have done it is just dumb. Bluntly, we really don't know, do we? That's what the trial is for. Obviously the DA thinks there is enough there to charge him and make it stick. If I really were Michael's friend, I wouldn't talk to the press, one way or the other. But to try to defend Michael by saying something like, "Well even if he did touch little boys, that's not really so horrible" is just sick.
