Michael Jackson has officially been charged with 7 counts of child molestation and 2 counts of “administering an intoxicating agent to a child for purposes of committing a felony”.

Those last 2 charges are interesting, as is the statement in the filing that Jackson had “substantial sexual conduct” with the boy. Fox 411 has reported earlier that the intoxicating agent in question may be wine or sleeping pills.

Ouch. I’ll be interesting in hearing the details of these charges.

I’ve been following this on courtTV’s own message boards for a while, and it’s absolutely amazing how far MJ’s fans will go to praticaly endorse pedophilia in an effort to prove their buddy has done no wrong. Can’t wait to see them try to explain away the “intoxicating a minor” charges

People who are standing up and defending Michael are in a really tough spot. It would be one thing for them to just be there to support him through the trial, but to allege outright that he is innocent and there’s “no way” he could have done it is just dumb.

Bluntly, we really don’t know, do we? That’s what the trial is for. Obviously the DA thinks there is enough there to charge him and make it stick. If I really were Michael’s friend, I wouldn’t talk to the press, one way or the other.

But to try to defend Michael by saying something like, “Well even if he did touch little boys, that’s not really so horrible” is just sick.

Okay, let’s not forget the fact that he hath now JOINED, I say, JOINED the nation of Islam. No offense, but if I were a Muslim, I’d be offended singularly. I mean, that’s like saying an accussed child molester had nowhere to turn but to another religion where people MIGHT apppreciate him. Not to mention this: Does the idiot KNOW anything about the religion?
